NA and AA Meetings and Resources

The Balance is dedicated to supporting homeless and at-risk youth by offering a comprehensive array of recovery services. We facilitate multiple weekly recovery meetings tailored specifically to these teens, many of whom are grappling with addiction, trauma, and the harsh realities of living without stable housing. These meetings, guided by compassionate and knowledgeable sponsors, provide a safe and supportive environment where teens can connect with others who understand their struggles. In addition, we offer specialized workshops that equip these young people with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges, make better choices, and begin their journey toward healing and stability.

Recognizing the unique challenges faced by homeless youth, The Balance goes beyond just providing services at our center. We accompany groups of teens to recovery meetings near their homes and schools, removing any barriers to their participation. By meeting them where they live, we ensure they don’t feel isolated and can access the support they need, regardless of their living situation. This hands-on approach allows teens to engage with local recovery communities, helping them build lasting connections that foster personal growth and stability.

The Balance’s recovery services don’t just focus on youth; we also host numerous fellowship meetings for adults in recovery, creating a broader community of support that includes the entire family unit. These adult meetings provide vital emotional support for parents, guardians, and others involved in the lives of these teens. By offering a space for adults to share their experiences, learn from one another, and continue their own healing journeys, we strengthen the overall recovery network. This interconnectedness ensures that both youth and adults can rely on a solid foundation of shared understanding and support as they navigate their individual paths to recovery.
