Priority Statement for In-Person and Remote Interns
We strongly encourage applicants residing in or near Jerusalem to apply for in-person internships, as priority will be given to those able to contribute on a bi-daily or daily basis at our center. Engaging in person offers a more immersive and impactful experience, facilitating direct collaboration with our team and hands-on support of our mission.
For those seeking to intern remotely, we require a high level of dedication, responsibility, and self-management. Remote interns must consistently meet significant deadlines, maintain a steady pace, and manage substantial workloads independently. It is essential that remote applicants demonstrate that this internship will be a top priority in their schedules.
Our internships are flexible and can be completed as part of a 3-, 6-, 9-, or 12-month program, available for both summer or gap year experiences. Internships can commence whenever you are ready to start and require a serious commitment to supporting our mission and embracing the challenges and rewards of this opportunity.
Please note: We do not offer housing placement for interns; therefore, applicants must arrange their own accommodations.
Performance and Reporting Policy
Interns are expected to adhere to all outlined responsibilities and workload requirements diligently. Failure to comply with the demands of the internship may result in formal notification to your current educational institution or any colleges to which you seek admission in the future. Such notifications could adversely affect your academic standing or application status.
This policy aligns with standard practices observed in internship programs, where educational institutions are informed of interns' performance, especially when it does not meet established standards. For instance, the University of Virginia's Counseling and Psychological Services outlines procedures for communicating with graduate programs regarding interns not meeting performance standards.
By joining our internship program, you agree to commit fully to your assigned duties and uphold the professional standards expected of all participants.
